Ok, so you have found a coffee with an amazing smell and a good quality bean. Does that mean you're done? not quite, you see finding the correct bean is only half the battle before you start smashing it with a hammer or trying to cheese grate it down to the perfect filter coffee you may need to find the right tool for the job. Benefits of electic over manual grind
Some people wonder whether or not to use an electric grinder over a manual grinder and what the difference is? I've compiled a small list which should give you a better idea of how to choose.
Electric
Pros:
- Simple & easy to use
- Convenient and quick
- Easy to achieve different grind settings
Cons:
- Can be expensive
- Takes up more counter space
- Need an outlet
Manual
Pros:
- More compact
- Good for travelling or on-the-go
- Reasonably priced
Cons:
- More work and time required
- Harder to adjust settings
- Difficult toa chieve finer grinds
Filters or Coffee Press?
There are two winners when it comes to creating the perfect brewed coffee, it is really only the choice between using a Press or a Slow Drip Filter.
My personal favourite would come down to either an Aero Press system or Slow Dripper.
